End Morning Sickness
80 to 90% of all pregnant women experience morning sickness. It usually begins at around the 4th week of pregnancy and typically subsides between weeks 13 and 16. However, for some women it can begin earlier and last much later.
The cause of morning sickness is still unknown but it is believed to be caused by the increased hormonal levels which enhance the sense of smell and increase stomach acids.
So what can you do to end morning sickness? There are many different remedies and recommendations available to end morning sickness from eating dry crackers before getting up in the morning to taking naps after every meal.

Eat or Drink Ginger – Drink fresh ginger tea that is made by boiling ginger root in hot water. Ginger tea is an effective treatment for alleviating morning sickness.
If your nausea is extreme and you would like faster results, you can eat 1-2 teaspoons of ginger powder and wash it down with a glass of water. Consuming powdered ginger seems to work faster to end morning sickness.
Lavender and Thyme Mixture – Combine a mixture of dried thyme and dried lavender. Take the mixture and pour it in the center of a handkerchief or bandana and then tie them together with the mixture inside.
Anytime you come in contact with smells that begin to make you nauseous, take the pleasant smelling cloth and put it to your nose to block out the unpleasant odors and keep you from becoming nauseous.
Mint Tea – Mint has been known to soothe the effects of nausea. You can purchase mint tea in the store or make your own by boiling mint leaves in water. This is a great method for keeping the nausea at bay and the tea is pleasant tasting and soothing.
