One of the most popular remedies for morning sickness in pregnant women is the ginger chew. These can be found a number of places online and can be very relieving for some women. It is not just the ginger chew that helps, but generally anything with ginger in it.
Some women even reported feeling better from some of the ginger-type sodas like birch beer and root beer. Generally, however, the best advice is to avoid all carbonated sodas as this can prove upsetting for the stomach that is already feeling queasy.
There are all manners of urban legends about what you can tell about a baby or a pregnancy when morning sickness is severe. However, these are mostly just urban myths and every pregnancy is different, from one mother to the next.
