When does morning sickness end is a question that comes up often from women who are in the midst of dealing with morning sickness.

The next best thing beyond ginger are your common, every-day Saltine crackers (or any other very dry and salty cracker).  The Saltines can settle an upset stomach, just like they would if you had the flu and were trying to calm your body and put something into your stomach.  Women’s stomachs during pregnancy are double-edged swords—constantly wanting to eat for the growth and nutrition of the baby, yet also sick-feeling much of the time so that there is hardly any middle-ground. 

Try eating a few dry crackers before getting out of bed each morning.  They will help to absorb some of the acid in your stomach and help to alleviate some of the nausea you feel in the early morning hours.  You should also keep some handy as a light snack throughout the day.

So when does morning sickness end?  We can only give a range but no one can pinpoint an exact time when morning sickness will end for you.

Fresh Air And Exercise – Fresh air will do a world of good in helping you feel better. I know during this time the last thing you may want to do is get up, go outside and exercise but it help improve the way you feel drastically. Even 5 minutes outdoors in the fresh air is helpful.

Ginger – Ginger has been recommended by doctors and midwives to their patients for years to help with morning sickness. While it is not officially approved by the FDA as a treatment for morning sickness, they do acknowledge it as a useful home method.
